About Us


Xamount, founded in 2006, is a Southern California-based HPC solutions reseller providing hardware and software solutions to Media, Entertainment and Telecommunication companies for over 10 years. Our internal talent combines over 30 years experience in the architecture, engineering, building and supporting some of the most complex hardware and software solutions on the market today. Our founder has worked directly for the following companies: Rackable (now SGI) where customers included Google, YouTube, Microsoft, and Qualcomm to name a few; ADIC (now Quantum) where customers included Warner Bros (four different divisions), Disney, Sony Imageworks, and Sony Pictures. Our founder was also a Supermicro consultant integral in helping design GPU solutions for Media and Entertainment companies.


Xamount is a City of Los Angeles certified Local Business Enterprise (LBE) and Harbor Department certified Small Business Enterprise (SBE/VSBE).

Lisa Caughren (CEO - Los Angeles) – Lisa has 25+ years of sales engineering experience in the High Performance Computing environment. Her expertise in bringing great engineering minds together to solve complex data problems has made her a ground breaker for women in the field of technology. Her loyal customer base continues to grow Xamount year after year. Lisa's experience working directly for Rackable/SGI, and ADIC/Quantum gave her the insight on what enterprise level customers expect from a manufacturer level solutions provider. Lisa is an entrepreneur at heart and found that corporate America tends to focus on the bottom line rather than customer needs which lead her to create Xamount LLC in 2006. Lisa attended the University of Southern California. 

 

Alix Wisner (COO - Los Angeles) - Alix joined Xamount in 2008 as its Chief Operating Officer.  She has over 13 years of project management, business development, and strategic planning experience.  Alix is a detail-oriented pragmatist who collaborates closely with other Xamount team members, sub-contractors and other consultants, and government representatives.  She brings strong leadership skills and a hands-on approach to all aspects of her projects and focuses closely on building a strong team process to generate the best possible results.  Alix holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Latin American Studies from Scripps College in Claremont, California.

 

Amy Beaman (Sales/Marketing - Los Angeles and UK locations) – With over 15 years experience in providing successful marketing and business development programs for high end technology and media & entertainment companies, Amy is one of the leading professionals within the industry. Most recently she has focused on providing high performance computing products as well as specialized post-production software to a variety of high profile companies. The combination of a deep understanding of technology coupled with her Marketing Communications, Channel Sales & Marketing, and Business Development experience, means Amy is uniquely positioned to provide tailored solutions to each client's needs. Amy holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a major in Marketing from California Lutheran University.
